As a Payroll Implementation Specialist at UZIO, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional support to clients during payroll implementation and ongoing payroll support. You will ensure a seamless onboarding experience for clients transitioning to UZIO Payroll, addressing any issues or inquiries with professionalism and providing expert guidance on payroll-related matters. This role requires a strong understanding of U.S. payroll systems and compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as a commitment to outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during payroll implementation, handling inquiries, questions, and concerns efficiently.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and chat, ensuring a timely and professional approach.
  • Assist new and existing clients in setting up and maintaining payroll accounts, including employee records, pay schedules, and tax information.
  • Provide clients with step-by-step guidance on payroll processing and deliver training on UZIO’s payroll system and other related features.
  • Review payroll data for accuracy before processing to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and enhance the client support experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, ensuring clients remain compliant.
  • Offer regular feedback to management on potential system improvements based on client interactions and experiences.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive payroll information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in U.S. payroll processing, client support, or a related field.
  • Experience with payroll software and systems is essential.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. payroll regulations, including federal and state tax laws, wage and hour laws, and compliance requirements.

Work Hours:
U.S. Time Zone (EST), 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (flexible)
