UZIO’s January 2026 Product Release – Exciting New Features Now Live!

As we begin the new year, we are pleased to share that a new product update is now available on your UZIO platform. This release introduces significant enhancements across Payroll and HRIS, including expanded garnishment remittance capabilities, a new in-app Form I-9 experience with E-Verify integration, expanded mobile functionality, and additional platform improvements.
What’s New in January
UZIO Payroll Enhancements
Full-Service Garnishment Remittance
UZIO Payroll now supports full-service remittance for all garnishment types. Employers can choose to have UZIO manage garnishment remittance directly within the platform, providing a more centralized approach to garnishment handling. This capability will be fully live during the week of January 12.
Garnishment Setup Enhancements
Garnishment setup and calculation capabilities have now improved configuration and calculation logic with added deduction methods, required court order details, better sequencing, and court order document management.
UZIO HRIS Enhancements
In-App Form I-9 Workflow
UZIO now offers a new native Form I-9 experience allowing employees and employers to complete and sign forms directly in UZIO, with guided steps and document upload. Mobile support for Section 1 will be available by the week ending January 23.
Native E-Verify Integration
UZIO has launched a direct integration with E-Verify, enabling electronic employment eligibility verification within the platform. Employers can create and manage cases, submit required information, and monitor case statuses in real time, in compliance with USCIS and DHS requirements.
UZIO Mobile Enhancements
Mobile Experience Expansion
UZIO Mobile now offers improved navigation, a centralized inbox, and expanded access to key workflows. The updated mobile app will be available during the week ending January 9.
UZIO API Enhancements
Expanded Public APIs
New public APIs are now available to enable programmatic management of employee deductions and employer contributions, supporting improved integration and automation.
UZIO Miscellaneous Enhancements
Time Off Policy Accuracy
PTO balances now remain within policy limits when leave is cancelled, helping maintain accurate balances without manual intervention.
Termination Reason Flexibility
UZIO has enhanced how termination reasons are captured in the platform. Employers can now select an “Other” termination reason and optionally provide free-text details, improving alignment with external systems while maintaining reporting consistency.
