March 2026 release introduces enhancements across Time Tracking, HR compliance workflows, and administrative controls to improve operational visibility and simplify daily processes, and support organizations in meeting important regulatory and compliance requirements.
What’s New in March
UZIO Time Tracking Enhancements
- Individual Time Entry Review — Managers can mark time entries as reviewed to track which entries have been verified during timesheet review.
- Clock-In Restrictions for Scheduled Shifts — New settings allow organizations to restrict employees from clocking in without a scheduled shift or outside their assigned shift.
- Improved Timesheet Page User Experience — Enhanced filtering and sorting capabilities make it easier to review employee timesheets.
UZIO Security & Authentication Enhancements
- SAML 2.0 Single Sign-On (SSO) Support — UZIO now supports SAML 2.0 based Single Sign-On, allowing organizations to authenticate employees through their external Identity Provider such as Microsoft Entra ID.
UZIO HR Enhancements
- Form I-9 Employer Signatory Assignment — Employers can now designate a default user responsible for completing Section 2 of Form I-9, helping ensure timely completion of employment verification.
- Form I-9 Workflow Enhancements — Updates include improved employee guidance, optional document upload requirements, and enhanced E-Verify status visibility.
UZIO Payroll Enhancements
- Time Off Balance Visibility on Paystubs — Paystubs now display balances for additional time off policies, improving employee visibility and supporting evolving leave regulations.
UZIO General Enhancements
- California Emergency Contact Authorization — Employees in California can choose to authorize emergency contact notification in certain workplace situations, supporting compliance with California SB 294.
- Role-Based Your Action Needed (YAN) Alerts — YAN notifications are now visible based on user permissions, allowing the appropriate users to review and resolve alerts. Some alerts apply specifically to organizations operating under the Amazon DSP program.
- Org Chart – Head of Organization Access Control — Only Employer Admin users can now update the Head of the Organization in the Org Chart.
