UZIO’s May 2026 Product Release – Exciting New Features Now Live!
Great Falls, VA.
May 2026 release introduces enhancements across the Employer Portal, Payroll, Time Tracking, HRIS, Time Off, and our DSP Program — helping improve compliance visibility, streamline payroll review processes, and strengthen regulatory support.
What’s New in May
UZIO Employer Portal Enhancements
New Home Page with Compliance & Risk Alerts and Action Center — A redesigned Employer Home Dashboard featuring a live workforce banner, a prioritized action queue, and proactive compliance alerts across time tracking, HR, and employee data — giving you a single view of what needs your attention. This has been enabled for selective DSPs, with rollout to all remaining DSPs completing this week. If you’re a non-DSP partner and would like this enabled, please reach out to us at support@uzio.com.
UZIO Payroll Enhancements
Payroll Anomaly Detection —UZIO now automatically detects payroll anomalies and compliance risks, turning payroll sign-off into a proactive safeguard against costly errors and fraud.
- Proactive detection: A scheduled background process surfaces anomalies anytime in the new Payroll Action Center on the Payroll Dashboard — grouping employee-level items (e.g., “SSN missing for 5 employees”) with inline actions and pay-group filtering.
- Payroll-dependent detection: Before approval, the Payroll Health Check evaluates calculated payroll output and flags anomalies via a scan banner and slide-in cards on the Payroll Summary page.
UZIO Time Tracking Enhancements
Employee Time Entry Approval Workflow — Managers can now review, approve, or reject employee-submitted time entry changes before they impact payroll, with improved audit history and pending-approval visibility.
Time Entries Report — Now includes terminated employees with historical entries.
UZIO HRIS Enhancements
I-9 Section 2 Employer Job Title Capture —UZIO now captures the Employer’s Job Title in Form I-9 Section 2, supporting compliance with USCIS Form I-9 requirements.
Streamlined I-9 Reassignment with E-Verify —Reassigning Form I-9 for an employee with an existing E-Verify case is now handled through an integrated, self-serve workflow, reducing duplicate-case errors and manual support intervention.
UZIO Time Off Enhancements
New York Prenatal Leave Support — Two new Time Off policy-setup capabilities now let clients model the New York State Prenatal Leave policy.
- “First Usage Anniversary” reset: A per-employee 52-week cycle that opens on the employee’s first approved request.
- “Hour Increment” control: Restricts leave requests to exact multiples of a set value (e.g., whole hours only).
Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Program Updates
Automatic Time Off Policy Setup for NY DSPs — For NY-based DSP employers, UZIO now auto-provisions the required New York Prenatal Leave policy at employer setup, so the configuration is applied automatically rather than set up manually and is also assigned to the Delivery Associates.
Coming Next
New Version of Custom Report Builder — A redesigned report builder coming next release, letting employers design custom templates across multiple data sets, apply filters, run or schedule reports on demand, and review run history.
Sensitive Data Redaction & Role-Based Visibility — We’re extending sensitive-data masking to be platform-wide — covering SSN, bank account, routing number, email, phone, and home address — so these fields display redacted across both the UI and reports by default, with full values available only to authorized roles.
This release reflects our continued focus on compliance automation, mobile accessibility, and operational flexibility — especially for growing, hourly-based workforces.
